Tom Davies is a London-born artist (b 1990), living and working from his studio in Peckham. His work is currently concentrated on landscape painting - depicting the meadows, trees, fields, coastlines, valleys, hills and skies that make up the British countryside.
Tom’s painting practice is both ‘en plain air’ and studio based - working in oils and currently focusing on the South West of England and Suffolk.
The artistic motivations behind the work - what has lead to a constant exploration of the landscape through his paintings - comes from a deep affinity for nature and a yearning for the rural environment
A significant number of his paintings, including commission-based work, have been sold in the last few years to individual and private collectors. Tom is a graduate of Bristol University of the West of England (2010-2013) and City & Guilds Art School (2009-2010)
